Eastport Buoy Project 2023

BuoyProject.JPG

Help us bring the Eastport Buoy to life!

We are seeking private donations to help the Port Authority and the Eastport Chamber of Commerce complete the fresh, fun, nautical design by local artist Alison Ross.

This project was inspired by the concrete buoy in Key West, Florida, a much photographed point of interest at the southernmost point in the continental U.S. since 1983.

The Eastport buoy was donated to the Port Authority by the USCG, installed at the breakwater, and is prepped, primed and ready to become the newest point of interest in the easternmost city in the U.S.

The next phase will see the new design painted on the buoy.  Future enhancements will include benches, cafe tables and signage.
