The Eastport area offers a wide range of adventures for kids of all ages. Search for treasures along the seashore, including vibrant shells, sea glass, driftwood and colorful stones polished by the ocean’s sand and waves. Survey our fast moving tides to discover cormorants, gulls, osprey, hawks and eagles. Watch seals play in the currents catching lunch and scan for porpoise and whales in the bay. For a closer look, boat tours are available, including whale watches, lobstering and ferry rides between local harbors.

The surrounding area also offers an array of lakes and streams for fresh water fun -- swimming, kayaking, fishing and boating. Well-marked hiking trails for all abilities are easily accessible in the numerous public and state parks close by.

Eastport offers summer activities designed specifically for children, including sidewalk chalk drawing, outdoor movies in the evenings, musical events for all ages and youth art workshops. Our 4th of July Celebration appeals to kids of all ages with events like cod fish races, a pie eating contest, a huge, colorful parade and a brilliant fireworks display. From Mermaids to Pirates to Witches, we have festivals for kids of all-ages from June to October.

Family friendly fun continues during the holidays - visit the Christmas Forest in Perry. A lighted winter wonderland open Thurs-Sun 4:30-6:30 from mid-November thru the holidays.
